With spring weather in the air, it’s time to grab your group (and your appetite) and explore a variety of dining experiences here at The Village. We have more than 13 places to eat, from coffee and frosé, to tacos or pizza, subs and sushi. There’s truly something for everyone, so make it a date to reconnect over tasty food with rich conversation. Whether you want to grab & go for lunch and coffee, stay a while for dinner & drinks, or stop for a sip with drinks and dessert, we’ve made planning your next foodie visit easy with a guide of 13 places to eat at Freshfields.

 

Grab And Go: Lunch & Coffee

Java Java

Latte, drip, matcha, or chai – whatever your caffeine or choice is, Java Java has you covered. More than just a morning coffee, don’t forget to grab a smoothie, breakfast pastry or sandwich for lunch, too! And did we mention they’re pet friendly?

Café Eugenia

Café Eugenia’s calling your name! A cafe and gourmet market, named after Kiawah Island’s historic avenue, Café Eugenia locally sources ingredients to offer an ever-changing assortment of salads, sandwiches, cheese and charcuterie boards, takeaway meals, drinks and more.

The Co-Op

Known for its famous house-made frosè, The Co-Op is a staple grab-and-go beach bodega serving breakfast, gourmet sandwiches, coffee, and its specialty smash burger. They also offer a pet-friendly patio, so bring your pooch!

Jersey Mike’s 

Stop in for a sub at Jersey’s Mikes! A perfect grab and go or quick bite to eat, get your sandwich “Mike’s Way” (if you know, you know), and don’t forget “the juice” –  red wine vinegar and olive oil blended to perfection.

The Station

In a hurry? Say no more. The Station’s got you covered! Whether you’re craving a candy bar, a classic bottle of Coke, or want a lunchtime classic like a corned beef Reuben, The Station should be your next stop.

 

Stay A While: Dinner & Drinks

Cantina 76

For all of your Mexican dish cravings, Cantina 76 has the flavor, menu, and margaritas you need. Salsa, queso, guacamole, oh my! Try the ”Tres Hombres“ sampler at The Village’s Cantina 76. Did someone say strawberry margarita? Taco ‘bout a good time!

Fuji Sushi Bar & Grill

If you’re looking for authentic Japanese cuisine, signature sushi rolls, traditional hibachi entrees and creative Asian fusion dishes, look no further than Fuji Sushi Bar & Grill! Offering weekly specials and a daily happy hour, the laid back atmosphere of Fuji is perfect for any occasion and even features a dog-friendly patio.

King Street Grille

King Street Grille is the perfect place to grab a drink, appetizer, and hearty pub food to watch the big game and root for your team. There’s always a game to watch, a lively atmosphere to enjoy, and plenty of menu items so you can’t go wrong.

La Tela Pizzeria

We can hear “When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie…” now! Neapolitan style pizzeria, La Tela, offers a casual and family-friendly atmosphere with their signature wood-fired oven and fresh Italian pasta dishes.

 

Stop For A Sip: Drinks & Desserts

FortyEight – Wine Bar & Kitchen

You don’t have to wait for Wine Wednesday to visit FortyEight – Wine Bar & Kitchen. As its name suggests, FortyEight offers 48 exceptional wines by the glass every day, 840 hand-selected wines by the bottle, as well as 48 local and regional craft beers, a full cocktail bar, and a delicious menu. Be on the lookout for their wine tasting events!

Vincent’s Drug Store & Soda Fountain

Step back in time and remember the good ol’ days when you visit Vincent’s. Offering an old-fashioned diner atmosphere and serving all the classics from root beer floats and malts, to banana splits and sundaes, Vincent’s Drug Store & Soda Fountain is a crowd pleaser. Soda fountain is open weekdays from 11am to 3pm.

Ben & Jerry’s 

Hope you saved room for dessert! Locally owned, our two favorite guys, Ben and Jerry, have your sweet tooth covered. Pro tip: they even have pup cups for your favorite furry friend!
