Kiawah Island has some beautiful beaches, but believe it or not, that’s not the only thing it has to offer. Here are some of our favorite activities that will get you acquainted with Kiawah like a pro.

Kiawah Beachwalker Park

This ten-mile stretch of coast is the perfect place to take in some beautiful ocean views. Beachwalker Park is a nice alternative to some of the more crowded Lowcountry beaches and offers many things to do. The best part, the park is just a short bike ride from the Village! Rent a bike at SeaCoast Sports and Outfitters and head down the bike path towards Kiawah Island.

Picnic at Angel Oak Tree

One of the must-see parks in Charleston, the Angel Oak Tree is thought to be one of the oldest living things in the country and has become the quintessential Charleston, SC symbol. Grab lunch to-go from one of our delicious spots in the Village, including Jersey Mike’s Subs or Java Java, and enjoy a nice long picnic under the Angel Oak Tree.

The Goatery at Kiawah River

The Goatery at Kiawah River is an Artisan dairy specializing in the best Grade A milk and cheeses. Book an appointment for any of their exciting activities, including goat yoga or a private farm tour. This is a great and unique way to get outside and learn more about farm animals!
