Sip & Stroll Returns this Fall

Freshfields Village is excited to announce the return of our Sip & Stroll event this Fall!

Visit participating stores and restaurants during the Fall Sip & Stroll for special in-store events, sales and promotions along with sips and light snacks. The event will take place the 3rd Thursday of each month September through December from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.

In-store promotions and activations will include 1/2 priced margaritas, visiting artists, gifts with purchase and savings up to 40%!

Hurricane Dorian Update

1 September 2019

We continue to monitor the progress of Hurricane Dorian. The safety of our patrons, guests and employees is our highest priority. Updates regarding business operations before and after the storm will be posted to this page. Freshfields Village is working closely with the Town of Kiawah Island and Charleston County to prepare for the storm’s impact.

We will continue to update the schedule of re-openings here.

Monday, September 9 – 9:00 am

The businesses at Freshfields Village have resumed normal hours.

Sunday, September 8 – 10:30 am:

The businesses at Freshfields Village have resumed normal businesses hours with the following exceptions due to loss of power.

Friday, September 6 – 2:30 pm:

Power has been restored to Freshfields Village and businesses are preparing to reopen. Please click here for a schedule of store openings.

Thursday, September 5 – 6:30 pm:

Access to the island will be closed on Friday, September 6 for the roads to be cleared and building and life safety inspections to take place. Please check back for details on store openings.

Wednesday, September 4 – 11:00 am:

Harris Teeter will close at 4:00 pm today ahead of Hurricane Dorian. At this time, all businesses in Freshfields Village will be closed until further notice. Please continue to check back regarding openings once the storm passes.

Monday, September 2 – 5:30 pm:

At this time, various businesses will be open tomorrow, Tuesday, September 3, including Harris Teeter, Kiawah Spirits and Vincent’s Drugstore (until 3:00 pm). The Station will be closed, but gas is still available 24 hours by credit purchase. A full list of store hours is available here. We continue to follow the Town of Kiawah and Charleston County’s lead ahead of the storm.

Sunday, September 1 – 9:00 pm:

Today at 6:30 p.m., Governor McMaster issued a mandatory evacuation order for all coastal communities in Zone A which includes Kiawah & Seabrook Island beginning tomorrow Monday, September 2 at noon. Lane reversals of I-26 from Charleston to Columbia will also begin tomorrow at noon.
