Join STUDIO 33 for Yoga Nidra Workshop with Katrina Mailloux on May 8 from 5:00 to 6:30 pm.

In this 1.5-hour workshop, you will center your breath and body, aligning the physical and mental practices of gentle movement and stillness. You will learn how to tap into your body’s innate ability to renew and restore, releasing any effects of prolonged stress on the mind and body. This class incorporates techniques to relax the muscles with support, to quiet the mind to allow a softer response to stress, and to find a relaxed and smooth pattern of breath. Following the practice, dive deep into rest for the practice of Yoga Nidra, or “yoga sleep” a guided meditation technique moving you across the waves of the mind through conscious entry into the sleep state. This workshop is designed to bring you into deeper awareness of a higher sense of self, one that is more closely aligned with a sense of calm and bliss.
