About the Photographer Kristen M. Brown:
First things first, it definitely was love at first sunset and wipeout! Not too many moons ago, Kristen worked in a cubicle on the 24th floor in the concrete jungle known as New York City. But, her life was forever changed when she made a New Year’s Resolution to learn how to surf, which led her to trade her heels for a camera and surfboard in Costa Rica. Ten years later, she still is head over heels in love with surfing every morning + photographing sunsets every night in either Costa Rica or here in the Lowcountry.
Most importantly, as a former corporate girl, she totally understands how it feels to be caught up in everyday life and not be able to be at the beach – your happy place – as much as you’d like, so she created a print shop of her breathtaking photography work for her fellow beach lovers + sunset chasers — you! Because even though you may live miles away from the ocean, you can have the beach in your every day too with a photo print of your paradise
