AT FRESHFIELDS VILLAGE

July 1

Start your week off on the right foot by visiting our Farmers Market, taking place weekly every Monday in June, July, and August from 3:00 to 7:00 pm. It’s a vibrant marketplace and a go-to destination for the freshest organic produce, artisanal local food products and unique Lowcountry crafts.

July 3

Coast into the middle of the week by diving into the magic of a movie under the stars with our Movies on The Village Green series, taking place every Wednesday in July at 8:30 pm. This family-friendly affair invites you and your loved ones to enjoy blockbuster hits amidst the great outdoors. This year’s lineup promises excitement for all ages, featuring Top Gun Maverick on July 3. Pro-tip: Arrive early to enjoy bingo from 7 – 8 pm before the movie starts!

July 5 & 6

When it’s time to welcome the weekend, head to Kiawah Spirits for a complimentary tasting held every Friday and Saturday from 1 pm to 5 pm. Enjoy these flavorful events that invite you to expand your palate. All participants must be at least 21 years old to partake in the tasting.

July 6

Walk into wellness by stepping into the Lululemon Walk Club. Open to all fitness levels, the club convenes every first and third Saturday of the month at 8:30 am. Gather at the Freshfields Lululemon store location (654 Freshfields Dr. Suite 200, Johns Island, SC 29455), where you’ll set off on a scenic journey along the beautiful trails of Kiawah Island.

July 4th

This holiday isn’t complete without the great American sport of baseball! Head to Joseph P. Riley Jr. Park to celebrate Independence Day with the Charleston RiverDogs. Enjoy a hotdog while you watch the game and finish off the night with a spectacular fireworks show!

The name says it all – Patriots Point Fireworks Blast is a perfectly patriotic way to celebrate the day on board the USS Yorktown at Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum in Mount Pleasant. The museum will host a free celebration on land starting at 6 pm, with food trucks, live music, and fireworks at sundown. You can also purchase a $25 ticket to watch the fireworks from the flight deck of the USS Yorktown.

Not looking to go too far? We’ve got you covered! Head over to Heron Park on local Kiawah Island for their Independence Day Celebration. Expect all of the traditional American happenings fit for the occasion like a cookout, watermelon eating contest, and of course, fireworks.
