Enjoy the warmer weather all month long at Freshfields Village! We are excited to announce a variety of events and activities for the entire family, such as our first scavenger hunt at the Village and our celebration of the 2021 PGA Championship taking place on Kiawah Island this month!
We’ve been working hard to ensure you can shop, sip, and socialize safely while visiting the Village, so grab your family and friends for these fun events happening throughout the month of May! Please be mindful of social distancing guidelines and adhere to masks requirements.
Swing into Savings Scavenger Hunt, May 1 to 31
Swing into Savings during our month-long Scavenger Hunt at Freshfields Village!! Visit the Village and search for golf-themed decals hidden throughout storefront windows to discover savings and specials. Visit Swing into Savings Scavenger Hunt to learn more!
Cars & Coffee, Saturday, May 15 from 9 to 11 am
Arrive in your favorite ride or stop by the Village Green to browse unique, antique and other cool cars at our monthly Cars & Coffee! Coffee and breakfast will be available for purchase at Java Java.
PGA Week, May 17 to 23
Celebrate the 2021 PGA Championship taking place on the beautiful Kiawah Island with a visit to Freshfields Village for Championship Week before heading to the Ocean Course! Check out our tee-rific events and details below!

Village Green Biergarten: Taking place all week long, we’ll have our open air tent with seating available for guests to enjoy take-away food from our restaurants with beer and wine service by FortyEight – Wine Bar & Kitchen. TV’s will be available to catch the latest action from the course!
Street Party Dining: Freshfields Drive between SeaCoast Sports & Outfitters and King Street Grille will be blocked to vehicular traffic all week for outdoor tented bar areas for King Street Grille and Cantina 76. Plus, head across the street to Lakeside Park to enjoy a tented area with bar service and limited menu from Fuji Sushi Bar & Grill.

Grab your family and friends to enjoy acoustic music on the Village Green from 5 to 8 pm.

Shag Night on the Dock with Doin’ the Charleston from 6 to 9 pm! See full details below.

Head over to the Lakeside Dock for “Music on the Dock” from 6 to 9 pm to enjoy tunes from a variety of local bands.

Are you a shag dance pro wanting to dust off your dancing shoes? Or are you new to the area and interested in learning the basic steps to the official dance of South Carolina? Then join us at Freshfields Village and Doin’ the Charleston for a special Shag Night on the Dock. This night at the Lakeside Dock is the perfect place to enjoy your favorite beach music tunes while you shag the night away! Don’t forget to stop by Doin’ the Charleston’s shop beforehand to browse the largest selection of beach music available on the east coast!
