The Co-Op

Founded on Sullivan’s Island in 2012, The Co-Op is a grab-and-go beach bodega serving breakfast (until 11am), gourmet sandwiches, coffee, and of course, the famous house-made frosé.

The Village Market by Harris Teeter

The Village Market by Harris Teeter is a full-service grocery store offering convenient and quality products for the visitors and residents of the island.

The Station

A convenience store for island residents and guests, The Station offers a gas station, environmentally friendly car wash, and a gourmet deli.

The Station is open from 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily. The deli serves breakfast from 6:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., and lunch from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The menu features a traditional breakfast, as well as lunchtime classics like corned beef Reubens, club sandwiches, chicken fingers, French fries, and more! The Station Cheeseburger is a local favorite! There is a variety of offerings available in the Grab-N-Go Line that include simple sandwiches and salads, all made fresh daily! Fresh coffee, fountain sodas, snacks, and a large selection of beer and wine are always available.

The gas island offers 8 filling stations, gasoline and diesel, and easy access in and out of Freshfields Village. The gasoline dispensers are available around the clock for customers paying with debit or credit card. The touch-less car wash includes an ecological laser system that utilizes 40 percent less water than traditional car washes and protects against scratches and brush marks on automobiles.

La Tela Pizzeria

La Tela will be closed Wednesday June 14 – Monday June 19 due to an emergency. 

La Tela Pizzeria is a locally owned and operated Neapolitan style pizzeria with a casual and family-friendly atmosphere. The open kitchen features a wood-fired oven and a pasta machine from Italy. We make all pasta, pizza dough, bread and mozzarella in-house. The menu consists of traditional Italian dishes, simple salads and specialty pizzas. We do not take reservations, so bring your party anytime, no matter the size.

Working with local farmers on Johns Island and Wadmalaw Island also gives us the opportunity to create seasonal dishes that highlight traditional Italian fare in a fresh way. Please follow us on social media to see what we have been up to lately!

King Street Grille

Great Food. Great Beer. Great Atmosphere.

King Street Grille is a full-service restaurant with more than 60 menu items. It was voted best sports bar/restaurant 7 years in a row. Far from the usual sports bar, the restaurant offers a great menu and wide beer selection, with TV’s everywhere. There will not be a bad seat in the house for the big games and golf tournaments.

Hege’s will be closed January 1-January 10, 2024. They will reopen Thursday January 11 to resume their regular dinner hours. (5-8:30pm)

For classic French cuisine in a casual, inviting atmosphere near Kiawah, Seabrook and Johns Island, visit Hege’s Restaurant. Offering dinner six days a week and weekend breakfast, Hege’s menu features fresh, seasonal, local products prepared in light, natural sauces.

In addition to the restaurant and bar, Hege’s has both private and semi-private dining rooms which provide the perfect setting for cocktail parties, business functions, and charity events. Extensive catering options are also available to assist you in planning your next “House Party.”

Fuji Sushi Bar & Grill

Fuji Sushi Bar & Grill offers authentic Japanese cuisine, signature sushi rolls, traditional hibachi entrees and creative Asian fusion dishes. The full bar offers an extensive selection of wine, beer, sake and house made cocktails. Fuji’s modern, laid back atmosphere with both indoor and patio seating will make the restaurant an ideal choice for everything from a business lunch to a family dinner, or a fun night out with friends. The restaurant offers weekly specials and a daily happy hour.

This is the fourth location in the Lowcountry for the Mt. Pleasant based restaurant.

Cantina 76

Cantina 76 is an independently owned Mexican-inspired taqueria and bar with four other locations in South Carolina. Cantina 76 is open for lunch and dinner seven days per week. Offering a simple yet diverse menu of fresh and affordable Mexican-inspired fare and beverages, Cantina 76 specializes in creative, award-winning à la carte tacos and signature margaritas in a casual, high-energy atmosphere. Guest-favorite items at Cantina 76 include the self-titled Cantina Margarita and the Peruvian shrimp taco with lightly fried shrimp drizzled with sweet sesame chili sauce and topped with coleslaw over a flour or corn tortilla.
