Swim Across America Day

Freshfields Village is a proud sponsor of the 9th Annual Swim Across America charity swim on Saturday, June 7 at Kiawah Island Golf Resort. All proceeds of the swim will benefit the Hollings Cancer Center at MUSC.

The Swim Across America team will be on-site at our Music on the Green on Friday, June 6th from 6-9 pm to share their mission and meet guests. Participating retailers will host special promotions to benefit Swim Across America. Stay tuned for more details soon!

Swim Across America – Charleston-Kiawah Island is an open water charity swim on Saturday, June 7 that raises money to support cancer research locally at Hollings Cancer Center at the Medical University of South Carolina. The swim on Kiawah Island will feature both ½-mile and 1.5 ocean swim options and a Saturday Pool Party with an Olympian at Night Heron Park. This community-oriented event is designed to attract swimmers from across the country of all ages and skill levels. Register online at www.swimacrossamercia.org/Kiawah. SAA is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that is dedicated to raising money and awareness for cancer research, prevention and treatment by hosting open water and pool swim events across the US. SAA, whose events include Olympians, has raised over $100 million since its inception.
